hard stomach

by Zivart, Feb 16, 2006 12:00AM
It has been two years since I had breast reconstruction and my stomach is hard like rock - I am eating less than before - I really feel very bad if I eat one bite more or drink.  My stomach is always hard even when it is empty.  The muscles were taken from my tummy - from one side as I had three c-sections when having my children.

Dear zivart:  Without examination, it is not possible for us to speculate on why your stomach feels this way.  It could be that some scar tissue has formed but your plastic surgeon would be the best person to examine and make a recommendation as to what this is and whether there is anything that could be done.
