Dear lous 17,   Without benefit of physical examination it is impossible to say what this is.  It is possible that it could be a lymph node that you feel, however, as it is remaining and causing you discomfort it is best to have it checked out by your doctor.

Greetings!

Did you ever get the lump checked out?  I felt a pressure a few weeks ago under my arm and found a lump.  I am hoping it is just a gland, but I am putting off going to an MD as I don't have insurance and am wondering if there is anything I can do to rule out anything.  I can go to a local lab and get a CBC or a full blood panel.   Anyone got any suggestions of things I can do on my own?

Thanks!
