Worried

by Blanquita, Mar 20, 2006 12:00AM
Hi everyone,

This is my first time in this forum.I was reading on breast cancer and I started to get a bit worried.

I'm 26 yrs old no children yet,I've notice that under my breast I have lots of what I can describe like "small pimples".They just dont go away.

Is still normal? What should I do to make them go away..

I dont know if this is caused because I have big breast...

Thank you for your help..

Dear blanquita:  The skin on the breast is like skin on any other part of the body and can be prone to rashes or pimples etc.  Without being able to see what you are describing it is difficult to advise.  However keeping the area clean and dry as possible may help.  If you are concerned,  bring this to the attention of your doctor, so they can examine and advise as well.

Dear Blanquita,

I have the same thing and they are nothing but little pimples/bumps. Nothing to worry about. Like you, I too worry about everything with breasts to the point I wish I didn't have them!!! Nonetheless, ask your doctor but rest assured, I think you're fine. Best!

Thank you so much Drandie2!!

I was getting really worried about it.

Is there something we can do to make them go away, any treatment?

Dear Blanquita,

i am so happy that I made you feel better!(smiles) What I use is Aveeno (unscented) Bodywash w/ oatmeal to help with my under-the-breast pimples. It also helps to keep it fresh and free from irritations "down under". Sometimes, right under full breasts, the skin underneath can be irritated with the constant rubbing from our breasts or we get pimples, irritations and what not due to our own bodily sweat and oil glands. Can be very irritating. When we had our firstborn, the pregnancy hormones made me breakout bad "down under" and I would sometimes use papertowels to sop up the sweat...very embarrassing! So I say this all to reassure you that you'll be fine. Of course share this with your doctor but again, don't worry. To share some good news with you, I found out from my doctor that the calcium in my breast (from what was seen on my 2nd mammogram) was benign and thank God! I worry alot too so I understand fully. Let me know how the Aveeno oatmeal bodywash works, 'kay?

Best to You!

Wow! I'm glad I found this on my search. I've had under-the-breast pimples for a while now and they've been becoming more prominent. It's a good thing I came here, I was really starting to worry! *hugs* Thanks for the indirect help!:) You rock!:)
