This is for my mom. She got breast implants about 6 years ago if not longer and just about 6 months ago she had them taking out. And after everything went back to normal she would touch her right breast closer to the arm and it had a knot and went back to the guy that did her reduction and said it was nothing. So she went somewhere else and they told her he had left a piece of the tubing in there and has caused her a lot of pain. She says it feels like burning like inflamatory. The tube he left in there has caused her to get like a bump above the tube that he carelessly left behind. And she was supposed to go back and see if the bump is cancer or not. I hope it is just from the tube being in there. Has anyone heard anything like this before. She thinks she is dying and i dont want to believe that. Someone please tell me different My mom is all i have left!!

Dear Ty47167: Without seeing and evaluating your mom, we cannot speculate on her situation. If there is a "tube" in place that is causing irritation, then your mother should see a plastic surgeon to have it removed. Scar tissue may also be contributing to the discomfort. However, if there is something suspicious on a mammogram or other test requiring further investigation, a breast specialist may be able to sort this out so that your mother gets the proper procedure.
