Herceptin

My oncologist recommended that I use Herceptin as my fish test came back positive.  So far, I've received 4 doses of a/c chemo and now am going to receive 4 doses of Taxol.  Any feedback would be helpful.

Dear Mrsfun44:  Herceptin is often recommended for women whose tumors overexpress the HER2 neu antigen.

Hi:  Go to the Breast Cancer Support site (bcsupport.org).  There you will find the Chemo/Treatment board which will provide you with LOTS of info from those of us currently or formerly on  or intending to receive treatment (Chemo, radiation, Herceptin, Tamoxifen).  Good luck and stay well.
