Is it normal to suddenly have a reddish mole appear on breast just below areola?

A few years ago I noticed a light brown oval discoloration on my left breast under my areola.  It has been there ever since. I'm 30 years old and just yesterday I discovered a mole like growth between the brown spot and my areola. It is raised and the skin around the raised "mole?" is red. I have absolutely no discomfort. I feel nothing when I touch it. I don't examine my breasts daily but I do know that this growth of sort was not there last week. Is this a normal change to breasts that women can get or do I have reason to be concerned?  Thank you for your help.  I don't want to feel like a fool at the doctor's office if this is indeed normal.  Thanks again!

Dear nannyshae:  Skin on the breast is like skin anywhere on the body and is subject to the development of moles, pimples or other abnormalities.  If this appears to be growing, getting worse or you are concerned, you should see your doctor.

When a person in ccurt pleads his own case. They say, he has a fool for a lawyer.  When you try Diagnose what you have, afraid the doctor will think you are a fool for asking.  Then you are being foolish, not to see the doctor.  Only he can tell you what is wrong.  You are young, and this could just be something that will go like it came.  Be on the safe side, see a doctor.

The skin of your breast is just like skin on any other part of your body. I would definitely have it checked out and make an appointment with a dermatologist. When it comes to your health you are NEVER foolish to investigate something you don't understand.
