Uh, I'm familiar with the site the other poster listed. If you want to do medical research on the internet, make sure you go to reputable sites. WebMD is a great site for consumerConsumer rights and responsibilities information, and there are plenty others. Please post backBack pain - low Back strain treatment if you want more suggestions.
I wish I had better news for you. It's okay to feel a sense of loss, and to feel angry and/or hurt that this has happened. However, I can tell you that you can relearn to appreciate your orgasmsOrgasmic dysfunction just as they are. It basically takes an open mind and a childlike sense of playfulness; try to approach it without having any particular goal, and see what happens. I know it sounds dumb, but truly it may turn out to be one of the best things that's happened to you. I wish you all the best.

As for your issue with the loss of sensation, unfortunately your experience isn't that uncommon. My husband experienced something quite similar during inguinal hernia repair. And unfortunately, I don't know of anything to help the numbness after your nerve(s) have been cut. It is probably at least mostly permanent; you may get some sensation back as the nerve regrows, but it takes a LONG time - years, if ever - for that to happen. Ask your doctor for a referral to a specialist. If you experience pain, ask about trying Neurontin or Elavil; both have been shown to help with neuropathic pain, and Elavil has helped my husband tremendously.
