Bligted ovum and pfizer cytotec induced abortion

by rsamano, Oct 21, 2006 12:00AM
My wife and I have a healthy 2 yr old boy but experienced two failed pregnancies before him (anembrionic pregnancy or bligted ovum) and now two after. Our doctor just recomended Cytotec from Pfizer to induce the abortion and expell the tisue. However, it“s been a day since the first dosage and almost 2hrs since the second. In previous experiences we were able to get over it in a matter of hours, and we are very worried and confused about what“s going on now. If you anyone can provide some insigth we would be very grateful.

Thank you

Sorry I am not a medical doctor and this is beyond my expertise. You may get some information on the site- but why not go get a check up right away and make sure things are proceeding correctly? You don't want to depend on random opinions on something this serious.

You might want to post this question on the maternal/child forum. The women there are very knowledgeable & helpful.
