facial hair

Could something my male partner is using be causing facial hair on me?
I'm 52, been in menopause for 8 years, induced by chemo, never had any unwanted facial hair, only medication I'm taking is femara, which I've been on for 7 years, and never had any side effects.  Started a new sexual relationship 3 months ago.  Now suddenly I've got facial hair around my mouth.  I've heard that male enhancement products can cause this in female partners, but can't find any information on the Internet to confirm this.  I would like more information before I confront my partner.

Thank you.

There is nothing I have read in the literature about how drugs one person takes could cause facial hair on another. But I am not a medical doctor, so I think you need to talk to one of them, specifically an endocrinologist. A reproductive specialist would also be fine. Something else may be going on and you need one of the medical personnel at medhelp to give you advice on this one.

I personally use a testosterone replacement medication (androgel). It is a gel that you rub into the skin daily on the upper arms, shoulders, or abdomen. I will give you a few quotes from the info that is included with my subscription.

Precautions:  Transfer of testosterone to another person can occur when vigorous skin-to-skin contact is made with the application site. Changes in body hair distribution, significant increase in acne, or other signs of virilization of the female partner should be brought to the attention of a physician.

Also, personally I apply the gel in the morning before work, and it is usually 6-8 hours before any contact with my wife and we have had no problems. Hope this helps.
