Busted Condom-Im scared

by Christin22, Jun 21, 2007 12:00AM
Hi. Ok so my husband and I were making love last night and when all was said and done, we realized the condom had busted (I'm not on BC at the moment). He pulled out and he had it on himself and my stomach-he said he didn't start cumming until he was completely out. So, basically I completely freaked out!!!!!!! Is there anything to do to help insure I won't get pregnant or do I just wait and see. Any thoughts or advice???

Go see a doctor. They have quick tests that ought to be able to tell you if you are pregnant. ( I am not sure how many days after the occurance tests are effective-) Another approach:--there are also commercial pregnancy tests that test for pregnancy from a stream of your urine-- they may need a bit longer for a good diagnosis but you can buy one of them to find out at what time after intercourse they become effective).

Then , if you find out your are not pregnant, you should review how to use a condom. Breakage is very uncommon, and it is possible, that you punctured it with a nail, or used a very old one and you want to make sure that you know how to use them correctly for maximum protection. In fact, I would urge you to go on some kind of hormonal birthcontrol ( IUD or hormonal shot etc) and use a condom as well. Its nice to have back up systems when you really really don't want to get pregnant. And they have low dosage, really effective hormonal birthcontrol methods now)

If you need information about the correct way to use a condom, you might try to go to the Trojan website ( or any mainline manufacturer ) to get a quick review about how to use condoms safely.
