Hashimotos and Macular Degeneration

My son and I have both have Hashimoto's disease.  I have recently been diagnosed with cataracts and macular degeneration (I am only 46).  As an autoimmune disease, is Hashimoto's ever associated with these eye problems? I take 75 mcg of Levoxyl daily and my TSH is steady around 1.

There doing.  I did the radiation thing, but it doesn't seemed to have worked real well.  It did work some as the doctor said on my last visit, it pretty much has bought me some time, if it goes into it's cold phase I will be ok, if it doesn't then we all know where that leads.  So here's hoping it goes cold!

I have read that there is TED related to Hashi's and although it is not common it can happen.  Would love to let you read it but I can't post that link here.
