Have there been any work done to se if Modafinil is effective for adhd and has it. My son develops severe facial twitching as shortly after taking adderall, Iwas wondering if modafinil could be less of a trigger for this.

Dear tp

I am not aware of any studies that are being done relating Modafinil to ADHD. Modafinil is used to improve wakefulness in patients with excessive day time sleepiness associated with Narcolepsy. Ritalin, Adderall, Dexedrine, Cylert, Desoxyn are the five common medications that are used in the treatment of childern with ADHD. Try to discuss with your doctor about your concerns regarding Adderall

Sincerely
