With the limited information provided, it is difficult to comment on whether what you are experiencing is normal or not. You may consider evaluation by a mental health professional, to explore your feelings further.

Afraid of standing on your own two feet, maybe?

seems like you really want to get married.  have you ever been in a solid relationship?  maybe you should take a step back and just explore what it is that you are looking for in a life partner.  Or even just a significant other.  Keep an open mind, focus on things that make you happy and love will hopefully find you!!! Remember what it is you are looking for when the special someone comes your way.  In the meantime, don't sweat it.  Live life to its fullest.  Take care of your health, work hard and and play hard.  Good luck and best wishes.

P.S.  Sorry if I sound like I'm giving advice, but I've been where you've been and this is exactly how I deal.
