my sister suffers from social phobia. she is currently on paxil which helps her at school and work, but it does not help her with males. the very thought of going on a date makes her physically ill and she stops eating for days. we live in the fairfield and franklin counties of ohio and i was wondering what kind of treatment or facilities are available to help her. thankyou for helping.

Your sister will do well in outpatient treatment with a therapist, either psychiatrist or psychologist.  The best way to find a therapist is through your doctor. If that doesn't work, call the Ohio State Psychiatric or Psychological Assosiation and ask for a list of referrals.
