worried about problem

by Mikoski, Jan 02, 2007 12:00AM
I have been feeling pain on my upper right side of my body ever since I have had my gall bladder removed earlier this year. I have been to my GP twice regarding this pain but they have dismissed the fact that it has any thing to do with the removal of my gall bladder. I have done a blood test but I won't be getting the results until five days time as they suggested that maybe my liver is infected but not likely. If I was to pin-point the pain I would point at my back or just beneath my right breast. Recently I've felt the pain on my left side now I'm a little worried as this is the side my heart is on. The pain is mild but consistent. On a scale out of 10 I would give it a 6 as I do sometimes take pain killers. I feel it mostly in the evenings to nights, sometimes for comfort I would rotate my right arm but this doesn't take away the pain. I am hoping to see my GP again soon and pray that I will be recommended for an x-ray as I would really like to known what's happening.
