of course, some medication for schizophrenia may help with some of these perceptions. Antipsychotics are generally effective.
see, it all started when i got interested in these dooms day theories. I use to be able to read this stuff and be interested, but now i'm having these deep thoughts. Don't get me wrong, i'm not blaming the media; it's me who has the problem. and it's me who should stay away from this deep thinking conspiracy theory type media. I wish I knew this before I started reading all this nonsense.
Thank you for being so open on the site. I can see from what you write that while you have considered some theories - at another level you recognise that there is something unsettling about the theories and yet find it difficult to find the flaw. Such ideas can be upsetting. However with some help you'll be able to get your head clear enough to deal with the task. Certainly, talking to a medic and getting medication will see you on the right road. In addition to medication there is a step that you might find useful - that is to avoid books etc. on topics that cause such concerns until all your disquiet is past. Put all related materials out of your sight and where you find it possible engage in other activities that require your total attention. Its good to take brakes from using our brains on theories now and again, and get down to doing something manual such as gardening etc. instead. To much work and no play.... If an idea about the theory comes into your head let it go by and say to yourself I'll not consider it now.
I know that if I'm upset I find it better - if I can - not to listen to the news or anything that upsets me. Do a bit of gardening etc. I also discuss any issues I have with a doctor straight away so as to avoid getting into situation where I find my own contemplations upsetting me. This last bit is a practice that is useful for anyone who has upsetting thoughts or ideas. Go TALK IT OUT with a doctor before it becomes upsetting.
