Zoloft Seems to have stopped working

I started taking Zoloft 4 years ago for anxiety and OCD.  Other than some times when I went off it because I felt better I ahve been on it ever since.  Over the past few days my anxiety has com back with a vengeance.  Do you think that I have any hope taking another medication instead of the Zoloft.  I took a Klonopin last night and it didn't seem to work.  The expiration was 5/29/2004 however.  Being that the Klonopin is 1 1/2 years past the expiration date, do you think it lost effectiveness ??

yes, I think it could well have lost its potency.  You would better off treating this as a time limited episode, staying on the zoloft, and supplementing with klonopin or xanax.
