Worried about to much medicine

I am trying to find out if it is normal for a person to be taking 6 different types of meds.  This person is not bipolar just depressed, these are the meds she is on...Nexium, Maurtion (which I couldn't find anything on this, it may be a typo in the med name) Serzone, Wellbutrin, Effexor, Tranxene, Seroquel, Neyroutin, Methadone, Ibrofin.

She took this last night at her last dosage...
Tranxene 8pm
seroquel 300 mg 9pm
neyrontin 1200ml 9pm
methadone 10ml 8pm
ibprofen 800ml 5:45 pm

Would all of this cause an overdose?  Or is this normal prescriptions?

From my point of view no one should be on more than 3, and preferably only one. Having this many medications may be correct, only her doctor can tell for sure, but having this many is certainly a good reason to ask the question of the doctor.

I don't know, depending on her issues it makes sense to me; she may have trouble sleeping, chronic pain, and anxiety in addition/related to depression. They all often go hand-in-hand.

You might suggest talking to her doctor. But when you worry about "duplicate" drugs, keep in mind that some necessary drugs can cause side effects that require the use of other drugs. Also, some target specific issues and not others.

What do you think? Those are heavy duty drugs. If your doctor is aware of them, don't worry about it. You are on them for a reason.
