i am not sure exactly what is wrong with me, but for about a month or two i have had this overwhelming fear of people reading my mind. i know it sounds totally ridiculous, but it's true. i change my thoughts so that people don't "hear" what i'm thinking.

That is a symptom of a problem that can be treated so find yourself a very competent psychiatrist and go see him or her.
