i think my 17 month od son is being molested

i have been noticing that my husband my childs father has been very close to our son lately. ive noticed little things like when i asked my son for a kiss he gave it to me in the mouth and then did it again and tried to put his tongue in my mouth. my son is usually most of the time with me.i dont take him to daycare since my son has a few medical problems and is very hyperactive. the only people he sees beside me is his father when he comes from work and my parents which i go to 1 a week. my husband lately has been putting the child in bed with him at night and covers him with the blanket while i am not in the bed, and today i noticed something very strange my husband was laying down in a futon that we have in the livingroom and he pulled the chiled into the bed with him since i am in the computer trying to work i dont know whats happenind behind me but when i look back i notice that he has his hand over the childs diaper and it alomost looked as if he was putting his hands in the childs diaper. a feww hours passed and he was playing with the child again and i notice the child screams and when i look the childs diaper on the sides was loose. i dont know what to think of this iam very upset at this but i dont know if i am being paranoid and nothing really is happening. how can i tell if something is happening?

Oh GOD I know what you mean! All I can say is that you need to listen to your heart and if its telling you that something is going on then I would watch very closely. A mothers intuition is given to us for a reason and if you have any doubts at all make sure that you have an eye on it at all times. I have had many doubts and have always made sure that I keep a very close eye on the situation without making yourself too noticeable. You might want to lessen the time that your child has alone time with his father or with any adult for that matter. I would also place cameras in your room or where ever the child spends most of his time with his father. Ask your son questions also but dont be so precise. being that young I'm not sure if he even talks yet. Always tell him that his private areas are not to be touched by anyone other than himself. Be very concise. and tell him that if anyone does touch those areas he is to tell you immediately.

This sounds much like my wife's experience with her ex, who molested both of her daughters and likely her son. GET TO A DOCTOR OR SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS NOW. NOT NEXT WEEK.  Have a doctor examine your son and if there is evidence of molestation, both of you either GET OUT now, or throw your husband out.  

My wife had these suspicions about her ex for months and no one believed her but she was right..and the kids (now adults) are STILL dealing with the results.

Please..do something about this now.  It could be nothing.  It is better to err on the side of caution in a case such as this.

Call your son's pediatrician today. Tell him/her your concerns.
Don't attempt to interview your child...as it takes special training and can get you misleading and false information. See if there is a Child Advocacy Center or Child Protection Center in your town/city where your child can be evaluated by experts.

DO NOT WAIT ON THIS GIRL! THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY WEIRD BEHAVIORS THAT AFFECT OUR CHILDREN AND CAN DO FAR WORSE DAMAGE THAN ANYTHING MOTHER NATURE CAN THROW AT US. I agree with everyone else, DON"T wait. The longer you wait it could prove detrimental to your child! Listen to your gut because most of the time it's right about these things. Don't become one of these mothers who end up saying " I wish I had.... or why didn't I....." Act on this ASAP!!!

But it is important that you act in the most reasonable way. Don't confront yr husband immediately. of course he would deny no matter what.
Talk to someone or put cameras.
But act VERY soon!

I am very sorry that this is happening to you.  It is hard to believe your husband could be doing harm to his own son, but 99% it is happening.   Do not confront him yourself. Get proof while you still can, get cameras.   Let a trustworthy person talk to your son and get some answers,you will have a witness's proof; if you ask your son and then someone else asks the same questions, will not be fair for your child.  Do not go to groups or advocacy centers until you have proof and if you think that you will be able to be strong and reject your husband for his repulsive addiction.

I am 17 years old and for most of my life i was molested by my uncle. And here is the thing, when i got the courage to turn him in, my aunt had known about it yet took his side.
you need to do something about it now!
i was molested//raped when i was only two and i REMEMBER it and it has molded my life to a cretin point where i CAN NOT be with a man//guy. Because i did not get help and no one stopped it when they could have.
PLEASE do something NOW about this.

Or your son will suffer so much for it later in life... i know.. im there now.

this sounds really disgusting and is your husband is doing that to your son i'd get him away from him as soon as possible. All the time on the news you hear about children being abused and im sure that the last thing you would want was that for your child!!
