Hi, I have fibro and something called DIV.  I also have CFS.  I feel all my problems are related.  You may want to do an internet search, try the term "Inflammatory Vaginitis" as it seems to get more hits, but the full name is Desquamative Inflammatory Vaginitis.  Good luck!

Sorry, I'm not in that area, but I think her best bet might be to find a vulvovaginal specialist in her area.  That is how I finally got diagnosed.  It took a long time to get a diagnosis, becuase most gyns are not familiar with this and miss it.  So she would be much better off with someone who specializes in vulvovaginal issues or who has lots of experience with vulvodynia, inflammatory vaginitis, vulvo lichen planus, etd.  DIV is an autoimmune condition as well.
Hope this helps!
