ear ache and sore throat

I has now been two months since my tt for thyrc and it has been two weeks and five days since my RAI treatment. I started on my meds' 15 days ago and then this week I only take 175mcg synthroid daily was taking 175 mcg synthroid daily along with 2pills @ 25mcg of cyotmel daily...This week she took me of the cyotmel and just on synthorid. But last Saturday I woke up with an ear ache and it comes and goes and if I turn my head a certain way it hurts and if I swollow it hurts and my throat hurts off and on. I still find myself getting tried mid-day and I'm a little I do not know how to explain weird feeling like I want to do something but i donot want to do anything, just weird  I feel like I need to get out of the house but then it is to hot and it makes me sick. Top and back of my head hurts on the left side to touch or to really brush my hair so could this just be from the changes and the treatment the medicine or could just be a ear infection.

Suck on hard candy to activate saliva.  Gargle with warm salt water.  Do you have sinus problems?  Sometimes when my allergies/sinuses are acting up, literally my whole head hurts.   I have sinus problems so bad I thought it was a toothache and I was in tears it hurt so bad.  And if all else fails go get a massage. If nothing else it will relax you!!

My doctor told me to take Motrin, drink a lot of water ( at least 6 glasses per day),  and soft massage around the ear area. I hope it helps. I know that is very painfull and annoying (i hope i spelled this right). Good luck to you . Love, Sveta

and that would make me feel like it is in my ear..so I guess maybe that is why the ear drops are not working.. LOL...what did you do to help the pain

It could be saliva"s gland pain (right next to the ears). It is very common after Rai.I have it on and off for the last 3 month.
PS I am 7 month after TT and RAI due to Thyca

I have checked and this was my blood test results back on the 19th of July

T4, total- <1.0 ug/dl  (L)
T Uptake 18.1 % (L)
FTI   <1 ug/dl (L)
TSH 107.82 ulU/mL
T3, Total--nothing must did not run this test
ThyroglobulinQuant 0.7 ng/mL
AntithyrogAB <20 IU/mL      TG conguent with imaging

one more thing remember my TSH was 107.7 I think back on the 18th of July and I will get it checked again on Aug. 26th.
