Penis Curvature Ruins My Sex Life

Hi

I am 20 years old and i have a serious problem. It's causing alot of depression and i am so self concious. I have had a curve in my penis all my life that bends to the left. I split up with my girlfriend about 4 months ago after 3 years. Now that I'm 20 and single, i should be enjoying my life and having fun and try to move on.
I have had so many oppurtunnities to be with other women and i wont sleep with any of them because im nervous of what they will think of me. I bend about 35 degrees to the left. (Really noticeable) and its destroying my sex life. Im so unhappy!!!
I'm so angry that im not perfectly straight. This is the thing that brings my confidence right down and i cant enjoy going out with the guys and try and pull women. I cant do it anymore!! I've given up!!

It's eating me alive and im so unhappy. I went to go see my urologist and he says to live with it!!!

That dosnt help me and how i feel. What should i do? I want to be straight and everything will go away. I would have so much more confidence!!!

I want to fix this problem but ive heard of so many risks and shortenings after operations.

I dont think i have ever been so depressed. This is a mans penis we are talking about. were meant to be proud of it. I cant take this self esteem problem anymore. I hate it.

Peyronie's disease can lead to the symptoms you are describing.  This is a disease that leads to plaque buildup in the penis - and subsequent curvature.

There are a variety of conservative approaches that are in the investigational phases and have not been studied conclusively.  This includes injection of verapamil, collagenase, steroids, calcium channel blockers, and interferon alpha-2b directly into the plaques.

If these approaches are not effective, surgery should be considered.

These options should be discussed with your urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

Wow Kid....you are messed up....I know exactly how you feel....but I had some improvement that may help....I don't know if I can put links here...but I'd hate to see a kid your age be upset....over this.  

If you don't already wear boxers...wear them...or get the longer version of briefs...that resemble shorts.  I've slept in briefs for years...and I KNOW it affected my penis length and especially curvature.  NO...I'm not a doctor..and I'm sure you're getting good advice...but this is just a quickie to get you started:

1.  Stay away from briefs!!!! Especially too tight!  If you must wear briefs...then wear loose boxers to bed to let your penis hang...and not have your blood flow constricted.  It does help!

2:  Buy a (penis) extender...it saved my confidence and my almost most of my penis curvature....after about 2 1/2 months...I saw a big difference, and my penis was both curved and twisted to the right....and as a side benefit to correcting your curvature....it increases your size.

3.  Here are some great links for the skeptical, but well meaning doc's....please don't delete....let's help this young man.  These may also help cheer you up and make you more optimistic:

Good luck buddy....I'll check back...let us know........you may not have peyronie's...just a "bad bend",  but the info is very much the same.

Let me tell you again...stay away from the briefs....especially at night....and think about an extender....It DOES help....I was skeptical for months before I purchased mine.....and I too stayed away from having sex......I even started getting scared that women would think I was gay, or something....I just kept telling them I had a girlfriend who lived in another city.  I did this for 3 years!!!
I went through depression...stayed home...(when I did go out...I talked to mostly buddies, so women wouldn't approach the "pack")...I didn't want to work...get out of bed...and I too got the same "live with it" response, when I did drop my pants in embarassment.

hey wuts up, mines bent further than yours and got friends who have that too, to the left as well, its from jerking off, if u use your right hand, then it'll grow bent to the left but who cares hahaha, no ones if fully straight

If you had it all your life, it is NOT Peyronie's disease. The left and right side of your body grows independently and no one is perfectly symmetrical. One side of the penis has simply grown slightly longer than the other and this causes it to curve. And it has nothing to do with which hand you jerk off with. Most curves are to the left, even among left handed guys.

Well how is this from a womans perspective. don't worry about it it should not make any diffrents to most normal women. I have married a man with a bentor curved penis and i makes no diffrence to me. and I have to say It did not make ant diffrence to his first wife either becaouse they were together 15 years and that is not why they devorcied. and i will say this When we first hooked up i was interested in him first and sex second. And I sure am not complaining. so if you don't make a big deal about it most normal women wont either...
