The stomach pain could be a response to the weight your body is holding. The actual cause of the aches depends on how far along you are. If you are "showing" then it may be tendons and ligaments that are stretching. your best bet to try and ease the pain in that case is to get a pregnancy girtle, and use it. try laying down frequently, if you get nauseated or heartburn from laying down, try propping yourself up a bit and putting a pillow under your stomache. IF the pain is only after you eat, then eat smaller portions, and eat more frequently, remember having a child in womb means less room for food or anything else. The pain could be anything from bowel backup to gastric fluids arguing with what you eat.

Hi I am 11 weeks pregnant and experience a sharp pain on my upper stomach that goes up to my belly button is that normal at all. The only way to get rid of the pain is by drinking warm water or sleeping it out. I've been vomiting alot and can't seem to eat anything throught the 3mnths. I'm getting a little constipation then diahharea. Is this normal at all.
