Why my 8 year old boy just started to wet his bed? He never did it before. how can I help him?

My 8 year old son just became a bedwetter. He was dry before and then we move to a new country and he has to deal with a different language and I know it's hard for him, maybe he feels too much pressute, although he says he's OK and happy, and doesn't understand why is this happening to him. He says it's "unfair". I'm worried cause he never did it before and I don't know how to help him. I keep telling him that everything is all right, and that I love him and that it's normal because of the changes we've had, but, I certainly don't know what to do.
Should I go to the doctor or a psicologist?

Emotionally-based enuresis is not a frequent occurrence, but when it occurs it is often as a result of significant changes in the child's environment. Relocation, particularly to a new country, is certainly such a major change. Arranging for your son to see a therapist is a good idea, not so much to address the enuresis per se, but to address the stress occasioned by the relocation.

On this web site there is a place to read about this.  Maybe read t his to our son...if he is willing to know that it is written up for people and is a normal thiing for "upsets" Large upsets that he is going t hrough.  The main thing and  you probably know this is to assure him of his OK'ness and he is not wrong.  It is a physical thing like getting a sunburn if out in sun too long.  I know that is corny buy one follows the other and is Common not abnormal.  One follows the other.  If he falls into poison ivy he will become very itchy...that is normal.
But yeah helping him with his stress is important and talking about all this is prob also very important.
