query about rhinoplasty

by garg_prabhat, May 10, 2007 12:00AM
I have heard about rhinoplasty and having my nose wide i want to go for this for a better look of my face. Kindly suggest me what are the negative things like side effects and care which will have to be taken after going for it in long terms.

Rhinoplasty (nose job) can be a very successful and satisfying procedure for both the patient and the physician.  While early complications such as bleeding and infection can occur, these problem are rare.  Probably the greatest issue following surgery is achieving the exact result desired by the patient.  Secondary procedures to correct minor residual problems are not uncommon with this surgery. If the final results of surgery are acceptable, then there should be no long term consequences or problems.

Is there any extra care to be taken  in long terms after rhinoplasty done

by garg_prabhat, May 14, 2007 12:00AM
I just want to know if any extra care of the part where surgery is done is required even after one year or later

No special care is required after several months following rhinoplasty surgery.
