stopping pill before surgery

by xchristina9175, Aug 01, 2007 12:00AM
ive been on the birth control for 3 months, today i got a call from the doctor saying i will need to stop taking the pill in 3 days for preparation to my breast surgery, i already had sex when i got the call, so if i take the pill for three days will there be chances of pregnancy, or if i continue to take the pill will it mess up my surgery horribly

I do not require patients on birth control pills to stop them prior to augmentation surgery.  I doubt that pregnancy will be an issue.  Relax and good luck with your surgery.
