have a couple of questions for you my daughter is 13 years old and has her period since she was 10 with no problems with it......until last year when she got her first cyst which they removed with no problems....... This year in April she got another one which they decided to drain because of the pain it was causing....3 weeks later she had recurring pain and said they thought the ovary had closed over and was now refilling with fluid again they left her for 4 weeks this time (on morphine, codeine ,panadol, diclofenac.) we spent this time on leave from hospital but mostly in hospital.....the pain got to bad so they went back in to remove the cyst........they turned the ovary inside out and completely removed the cyst.......while they were there they burnt of what they questioned might be (endo).so we came home feeling like it was over for her... Symptoms are right side pain all the time nausea with pain and with meds.....vomits most night around 2.00am-- 4.00am Tiredness Off her food NOW we are into week four and the same pain is back meds are the same but they have added Haloperidol to keep the morphine down they want us to try and ride this out but I am worried sick about her I cant understand how the ovary can close over and repeat the same thing over and over again can you help explain this to me PLEASE.
