Lower abdominal pressure

by Frustrated1009, Aug 09, 2007 12:00AM
I had a UTI a 2 months ago. My doctor prescribed medication, which I took for around two week until the symptoms were gone. A few days after stopping the medication the symptoms started to return. I saw the doctor again and he says I don't have a UTI. They have been running tests. I have lower abdominal pressure which becomes worse during intercourse so much that I have to stop, frequent urination, and I never seem full. Any idea on what is going on?

This could be musculoskeletal. Please get an evaluation by a pelvic floor physical therapist. They may be able to locate active muscle trigger points which may be causing your UTI like symptoms. First be sure that your Doctor has ruled out more serious problems.
