pregnant and boat rides????

I am close to 14 weeks pregnant and was wondering if it is okay to go for a ride on a boat? ?

It would depend on what kind of boat, what kind of body of water, speeds, and things of that nature. With baby number #1 I was on my mom's bass boat in the canals (not rough water, just trolling/drifting) and fishing with her.

At 8 weeks my husband and I took my other kids tubing in a lake and nothing went wrong with me. I am now 23 weeks pregnant

I've gone boating pregnant. If you wear a life preserver, and are not engaging in any extreme activities, and the waters aren't crowded or rough, you should be at low risk for an accident.

This means no water skiing, and staying under the awning with a nice cool drink :)
