Dark spots around my inner thigh but not on genital area

I don't know if I even have an STD but I noticed about 2 to 3 months ago I had these darker circles around the inner part of my thigh. They are not lumps, they do not itch or hurt, nothing. Its just darker skin close to my genital area but not on. Any ideas on what this is, or if I should be concerned?

I know that skin around the genitals can naturally darken,  although the formation of circles seems more consistant with a skin type rash.  Darkened areas of skin can also indicate the presence of diabetes, does this run in the family?

I also have this, but mine also have these dark cirlces. but it can get red around the edges and have tiny bumps. Sometimes the skin gets dry too. they don't itch either or hurt.
