Siniusitis and trigeminal nerve problem

Hi:
I am complaining from unilateral facial pain and numbness (branch 2 & 3 of trigeminal nerve) from a very long time. A saw large number of neurologists and they failed to diagnose me. I read recently that sinusitis may have relationship to trigmeninal nerve problems. Is that coninciding with my symptoms? What made me suspect is that I have sinusitis in the same side of the numbness.
By the way this condition increases with stress and being tired.
Also I have made all possible investigations regarding trigeminal neuralgia.
What is your opinion?
Many thanks

Usually Trigeminal Neuralgia is caused from a blood vessel pushing on the trigeminal nerve.  As far as I know, the only way to diagnose it is through history.  It can be caused from dental procedures.  I have Atypical Trigeminal with severe pain behind left eye, burning in left side of nose, and pain along upper gum area.  I have no sinus promblems however, other than NO mucous at all in my nose.  What other symtoms do you have?

Sinusitis can indeed be a cause of this problem, as can a tooth abscess.  I would suggest getting a CT of the sinuses to evaluate these symptoms.
