smr electrocautery of turbinates surgery

by dannyboy11111, Jul 17, 2006 12:00AM
hello

i had breathing difficulties so ive been diagnosed with deviated nasal septum and enlarged(hypertrophic) turbinates.

on wednesday i had a surgery of submucous resection and electrocautery of inferior turbinates.

packs where taken out already the day after.

until now i cannot breathe well.

can anyone who knows tell me how long does the recovery takes, and when i'll be able to breath normally. currently im still having breathing difficulties(left nostril better than the right), feeling pain and bleeding from time to time. i use a sea water spray as the doctor recommended.

thanks a lot

danny

Your recovery depends on multiple factors that we have no way of knowing.  You need to talk with the responsible surgeon to have your questions answered.
