MEDICATION AND DROWSINESS. PLEASE HELP

I'M SUFFERING FROM A COLD WHICH IS CONSISTING OF SORE THROAT, RUNNY NOSE AND CONGESTION. I HAVE TWO TYPES OF MEDICATION AND I REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS BEST. I HAVE GUAIFEN PSE AND I HAVE PHENAVENT LA CAPSULES. I WANT TO TAKE 1 TO GET BETTER BUT I NEED TO KNOW IF ONE OF THEM WILL MAKE ME DROWSY BECAUSE I HAVE TO GO TO WORK AT 5:00p.m UNTIL 6:00a.m PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Neither of these medications should make you drowsy. Drink lots of fluids, as well. The PhenaVent also contains Guiafenasin in it.
