Cough - Vague Density in Infrahilar region of lung

by Audreyb41, May 04, 2007 12:00AM
Husband had pneumonia one year ago, x-ray showed vague density in left infrahilar region. Repeat chest x-ray this year still shows persistent vague density. Recommended enhanced CT for clinical correlation. What are some of the things that this could indicate ?

Could be old scarring, lymph nodes, increased blood vessels.  Best to have the test and see what it shows.
