Symptoms of H2S exposure

by cursedtoo, May 14, 2007 12:00AM
I am experiencing symptoms of chronic low level exposure to hydrogen sulfide: dizziness, short term memory issues (brain fog), stuffy nose, lethargy. This symptoms have plagued me for years. They have followed me on vacation and to the various residences i've had over the years. I know these could be symptoms of other ailments, but I am otherwise healthy. Does the body produce and release hydrogen sulfide? If so, what would cause excessive production and/or emission of this?
Hope this doesn't sound crazy and any information you may provide would be greatly appreciated.

The symptoms you experience are not characteristic of low level exposure to hydrogen sulfide.  Hydrogen sulfide is found in sewers, not in residences.  The body does not produce hydrogen sulfide.  This is a dangerous gas that, in high concentrations, can cause sudden death.  Your symptoms are not caused by this gas.  You should seek medical assistance to find another cause.
