Vertebral Artery Dissection with Brown Sequard Syndrome

by ErickaVaughn, Aug 14, 2007 07:28PM
August 2006 Diagnosed with a Vertebral Artery Dissection.  3 weeks later developed cold burning pain in the enitre right side of my body.  Was on Coumadin therapy for 1 year.  Have ad multiple CT with contrast and the last one showed now improvement since the last CT with contrast 6 months ago.  The Artery has only opened a very small amount and was told it will not open any more and was prescribed Aggronox for the rest of my life.  Have tried a variety of different meds for the Brown Sequard Syndrome but no improvement.  Is there anything I should have done to #1 open the artery and #2 take away the cold burning pain in the right side of my body.
