Help me join the dots

by Gingercookie, Aug 16, 2007 12:50AM
Hi, I am getting frustrated as all of my symptoms and related tests done show no "ailment" etc.  I have the following:  itchy tops of hands and feet, IBS, every joint is tender to the touch, constant thirst (not diabetic), dizziness, poor short term memory, cry for no reason, adrenalin rushing off and on throughout body, strong pains across heart area (heart is healthy), work out 5x a week and eat 25 points on Weight Watchers and can't loose weight, work out with trainer and keep a food log which she monitors weekly (and I don't cheat), non restfull/rejuvenating sleep, vitiligo, swollen right leg.  I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid 15 years ago and was on medication which helped immensley (and I maintained a normal weight of 140 lbs).  I had a pulmanory embolysm 11 years ago and was taken off thyroid meds as they intefere with blood thinners (??) and now have been off blood thinners for 3 years but am not "sufficiently" enough under active thyroid to warrant meds according to my GP.   I was tested (saliva test) by a naturopath for adrenalin exhaustion and found to be positive.. tested by GP and found to be normal (urine test).  Been to an Endo and Gastroentorologist and no findings.  If anyone has experienced this grouping of symptoms I would welcome their input/feedback.  Regards, Ginger
