TSH Results

I had a sub total Thyroidectomy in 1966 and have been on thyroid meds. since.Last year my TSH was 0.01 and my Dr. reduced my Levoxyl from 0.150MG to 0.125MG. Last month my TSH was 0.13,which is in the low range. My Dr. didn't change my meds this time.I have been having heart palpitations for some time now and was wondering if my Levoxyl should be decreased? I'm a 67 year old female.I am in good health, work part time and belong to a gym where I do cardio 3 times a week and weights 3 times a week. Any info would be helpful.
thanks

I had a series of blood tests done in the past several months. About 2 years ago, my TSH was 2.84, then in early May went up to about 3.01, then July 3.98 and early August it's 5.19, which is above the normal ranges. My T4 levels are normal (9ish), I have gained about 30lbs since in 24 months, I always eat healthy and exercise routintely, in fact I was in top shape weighing 124lbs standing 5'7, now I'm 160lbs and going up. I'm pretty upset about it. I will be meeting with my doctor soon, which I assume will be referring me to an endo. to start me on Synthroid?? I just have a few questions: first, how did I get hypothyroid, I'm 21 yrs. old, am not iodine deficient.. is there any natural products I can take instead of depending on synthetic meds for the rest of my life,..and once I start taking them will I start losing weight? Thanks!

TSH of 0.13 is still low and with your symptoms woud consider the 0.112mg dose.
