Hey, HI!  I've been wondering where you were.  How are you doing?  Do I need to write up a post to relight the old bulb?  Good to have you!  Q

Hi! Thanks, I think I do need my bulb re-lit, it's flickering - ha/ha. . .
Well, I will share a story.....When I got sick, I was scheduled to fish the Poor Girls Tournament out of Ocean City, MD.  It's a tourn to raise $$ for Breast Cancer.   Months ago, my husband said to me - "you are not fishing that tournament, you can't do it, you'll be a mess." So, even though I was in the thick of it, I told him I would be fine by that time, and not only was I going to fish the tourn. that I was going to bring in the biggest fish in the sea that day - ha/ha.  So, I fished the tourn. went to the scales w/a 65lb. Tuna, which was not w/THE biggest fish that day, but at least we got one, actually, we got 2.  We almost didn't go, because it was blowing and the seas were tough and I was upset (not so much due to not fishing, because I was so bent on making my words stick).  I just had to prove to myself that I could still do some things.  Like many have said, we just aren't the same people w/the same physical capabilities and strength and that is a hard pill to swallow. Anyway, it was hot, and it was rough, and I did get sick once, which I never do, it put me out of commission the next couple days, but it was still so worth it in the end, because it was such a milestone for me. I know you all can relate from what I've been reading.
I have a lot of catching up to do (and I think I'll pick some smaller stones to hurdle from here on out) ha/ha. . .
catch up w/you all soon,
SL

I know what you mean about smaller stones to hurdle.  I had never been an atheltic type unless it was on top of a horse, yet when I was doing my walking/light jogging to recover from the cervial fusion I challenged my husband (a former trail runner) to a 5K race.  We picked one in Baltimore in October.  That was the same day I had my first "major" fall.  Needless to say, I haven't started training for it yet.  Kudos on the fishing.  I live on the Western shore but my son and his wife live on the Eastern shore

5K - Oh My! I'd rather pull in 10 big one's than think about that!

Hi SL, I am fairly new to the forum so wanted to say hi. I am diagnosed by one doctor as having MS, but not by my Neurologist yet. So I am in never, never land.
Congrats on the fish! I know exactly what you mean about accomplishing things, even if it knocks us down for days.

Take care!

Jazzy

Hello to you too Jazzy! I'm fairly new, but it's growing so quickly -  we're not new for long.  I wish you the best w/the Neuro.  I still struggle to wrap my head around things, it comes and goes - but all in good time I suppose.
talk to you soon!
