Chronic Right Side Pelvic Pain

by Marigold719, Aug 21, 2007 10:10PM
I have had complete hysto in 2005, dx with Interstitial Cystitis 2004, but suffered maybe 15 yrs before official dx.  Had many lapros to remove endo prior to hysto, I have always had this chronic right side pelvic pain.  Intercourse is so painful afterwards and sometimes during.  I am on estrogen Premirin .0625.  I also have IBS, but that has been under control.  What are your thoughts.  I really believe that all my drs. are missing something.  I have gone through physical therapy for PFD and take 5 mg. Valium nightly to help with bladder spasms.  Any thoughts????

Please get an evaluation by a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist. THey will evaluate you for painful trigger points in the pelvis flooor muscles. If these are present, they can help you to get rid of the trigger points, which can usually make the pain with intercourse go away.
