Any how, it is a machine that can tell if your middle ear is functioning correctly. USUALLY, if the eustachean tube is not functioning correctly the tympanomter will detect that.
Have been to ENT had MRI showed nothing, ENT's comment ,it will probably get better, after 6 months i'm beginning to wonder.
