it HAS to be dissolved under your tongue or it wont work and you are wasting it...the veins under your tongue is what absorbs the suboxone...you simply wont be getting very little or if any at all of its effectiveness.and its quite an expensive medicine to be wasting..i too hated the taste , i dont know how many i gagged from the taste then puked it all into the toilet, only to have to do it again,,,,it DOES work well if used correctly, and beleive it or not you do get used to the taste...i know its hard to,beleive...but i have a very sensitive gag reflex, so id i can handle it...you can too...i always have a big cup of coffee with me when i take mine...so if the flavor gets too intense..i take a sip of coffee..and for some reason that is the only thing i have found that does take the taste away...try it.

aww come on! they werent THAT bad! After they dissolved in my mouth Id just drink some water, or run for the prunce juice...and I thought THAT was nasty stuff! Since Ive been home from detox, I now have a jug of it in my fridge. haha

yes bettie they taste just horrible to me...i think they tatse like an aspirin that was soaked in dish detergent...LOL! and having withdrawals and being sick to begin with oooohhhh did that put my sensitive gag reflex to task..

From what I have read there are people who do this..However it continues your addict behavoir.. sure it works but you are using them not taking them as prescribed.. you are letting your addiction continue...

i started with 8 mgs, still felt horrible, called the doc. she said to try another 8mgs 2 hours later, and i did that until i was at 32mgs, then she thought that i still had too much methadone in my system (which means i should have waited longer before taking that first dose?) and cut me back to 12 mgs..i did that for a while then started waking up at 3 in the morning in severe withdrawals so ended up doing a split dose..16mgs in the morn and 16mgs at night....i had a horrible time switching from methadone to suboxone,,,i also waited almost 5 full days from my last dose of meth before i took my first dose of sub., and i was only on 20mgs of meth daily... so i was on 32 mgs for about 5 weeks, now i am down to 10mgs...slowly working myself down....the transition was pure hell...

There is no high. It's exactly the same as sublingually. In fact I went the sublingual route today to see if I was wasting the medicine. No difference. Also, gong from methadone to suboxone is nearly painless compared to what the 'done centre's refer to as a "smart detox". I did that and that was hell. The way to do it is to slowly detox, say 2migs a day, hold up if you reach a tough stop fro a few more days until you are down to 29 or less migs if methadone. Then, don't take your methadone ('done) that morning and take your first dose of suboxone,usually two migs. You should not feel sick from this and then the doc gives you two more and then about four p.m. I took a whole eight. Very little suffering. You will feel all of your old surgeries and injuries thar first night but a benzo will help. After that it's clear sailing. Hope I wasn't too wordy.

No difference"......if there is no difference then why snort it...obviously it went over just fine...i thought you couldnt handle the tatse? i have never been to a methadone clinic...so smart detox means nothing to me...and i dont beleive for 1 minute that you had NO problems going from 80 mgs. of meth right on to the suboxone... most places that prescribe suboxone WONT even consider you as a patient unless you are at 30 mgs or less....

im on the 48 hour detox right now its not the worst right now but the sickness is creeping up on me but Ihope the doc gives me 8 mgs cause i dont thing 4 mgs would work for me but hey if i asked him for subutex with just buprenorphine without the stupid naloxone do you think he would give it to me because i think the naloxone will block the bup to much and i wont be sick illl just crave black and oxys more if i feel opiated i stay sober

I've been on Suboxone for 2 years now. I credit this drug to my sobriety, I havn't relapsed since the day I started to take this. I snorted them a couple times the first year and soon realized it was a waste of time, suboxone, and money. These are expensive pills for one thing, and they are probably the only drug in the world that you should REALLY take AS prescribed. Snorting ***** up your mellon, makes you look like the junkie that you are, and tastes worse than sublingually. Suck it up and take it the way they are supposed to be, quite acting like a junkie *** and stay CLEAN!
