Cramps?

by alaysha, Aug 27, 2007 05:37PM
I'm 22 weeks and I woke up this morning having pretty bad cramps. No bleeding just cramping. I wanted to know if this is normal I assume that it is but it feels like light period cramps and I haven't had those since about week 5 of my pregnancy.

It might be braxton hicks contractions.

To: medication during pregnancy
Hi guys. I am doing so much better and thanks to all of you for your wonderful support. Here is my newest question. Well before getting pregnant I was on methylphenidate( ritalin) to increase energy levels. I stopped when I found out I was pregnant( about 4 weeks into the pregnancy) and at that point the doctors said that it should be fine and that according to the ultrasound everything looked hunkey dory. My psych( no, i am not crazy but do already have 4 kids, and a chemical imbalance) said I should keep taking my small dosage because my stress of trying to stay awake would be actually worse for the baby then being on it, but luckily I was able to get off it. BUT, now, I have NO energy and it is once again affecting my life and family( my husband cant take it anymore). I am confused at what I should do? Should I take half when I cant get myself off the couch? I mean I find that sometimes I cant even move enough to get my other two children lunch, and I feel like such a rotten parent. So I tell them to just grab a bannana or cereal till I can force myself up, I feel so rotten.Other than that, I am much better then before. So my friends, what should I do? Advice? Jackie
