Head Pain

I am a 25 year old female in pretty good health.  I am overweight but my blood pressure and everything like that always turns out to be perfect.  I have recently been experiencing a lot of symptoms related to severe panic disorder and anxiety attacks.  The first signs began about 5 months ago and since then they have just gotten worse.  For the past 3 weeks, I have been experiencing head pains.  The pain is almost always right about my left ear and it always feels the same.  It isn't what I would call severe, but it is an annoyance.  It lasts for about 5-10 minutes and goes away for a couple minutes then comes back.  This cycle can last from 30 minutes to 3 hours.  I will also just feel the pain every once in a while for a quick second and then it goes away.  I notice that I am really tensed up sometimes when this happens.  I am not sure what is causing this.  Most of the things that I have been reading up on suggest a tumor.  This is really scary which doesn't help sense I already suffer from immense anxiety.  Is anyone else experiencing anything like this??

KC......although this sounds like anxiety, you still have to watch it and have it checked out if it persists or gets worse.

I have had similar localized head pain off and on.  I do think, for me at least, it's related to anxiety and stress.  I think they are cluster headaches.

the first things that come to my mind are trigeminal neuralgia and cluster headaches
