anxiety meds

hello
im an hypothyroid patient with anxiety disorders.....
My questions is, this kind of drugs called "benzodiazepine", dont speed the aging process....?
This kind of drugs are they not similar to other recreational (opiods) drugs that makes you look older...?

I've been on klonopin for over 10 years.  I don't think it's made me age prematurely.  I think the smoking I did for 25 years probably caused more wrinkles than the benzodiazepines.

I've got an identical twin... he's never taken a benzodiazepine... and I don't believe anyone thinks I look older than he does.  Of course he's got a wife and kids to help him age prematurely... so perhaps we're just staying even!
