What causes white spots to appear on the lips of the mouth

Sometimes ulcers can appear to be white...and sometimes thrush(oral yeast infection) is white. Do they hurt?

hi, im 17 and i have this huge problem, im male, ive had this spot on the my lower lip for 3/4days now, how do i get rid of it?? please help!
