I must apologize, but I happened to realize I made a mistake in the information I gave with the question I asked yesterday. The mistake was in the MRI results. I had to get a copy of it to take to my doctor yesterday and seen my mistake. I think the difference could effect the answer you gave, if you will permit me to ask again.
The MRI results actually read as follows:
The sinusitis involving the left maxillary antrum. There is some increased signal in the region of the 7/8th nerve complex on the right as well as in the region of the fifth cranial nerve. This may be a neuritis although the exact etiology is unclear. T2 sequence shows no abnormalities in the region of the fifth cranial nerve on the right. Fourth ventricle normal in size and position. No shift midline structures. There are a couple of tiny white dots adjacent to the anterior commissure on each side, more prominent on the right that probably represent perivascular spaces. There is another white dot in the posterior aspect of the right centrum semiovale as well as several on the left superiorly. These most likely represent prominent perivascular spaces as well. On the T2 sagittal images, there are no abnormal signal areas to suggest MS. Nothing radiates toward the corpus coliseum. Pre contrast images demonstrate increased signal involving the fifth cranial nerve on the right as it exits the pons. This is in region of ganglia. Post contrast administration is unremarkable.
IMPRESSION:
1. There are some prominent left maxillary sinusitis.
2. Multiple small white matter lesions within the centrum semiovale. These may represent prominent perivascular spaces versus migraines, complicated migraines, vasculitis, as well as other etiologies.
Considering all of my symptoms (numbness in right face - arm - leg, pain in joints, dry mouth, etc.) from yesterday's question and this correct version of the MRI results (sorry):
1) Do you think MS can be ruled out?
2) Could I have lupus, vasculitis, sjogren's from these results?
3) Where do I go from here? I am very stressed.
4) The neurologist did say the reflexes in my right side were "a little brisk". Could this mean anything in my case?
Thank you for any help or suggestions you can offer. We would like to try and have another baby, but I am afraid that there could be something wrong with my health that would jeopardize a pregnancy.

Yes, I would have to agree with the neuroradiologists report, and the findings on the MRI would not be compatible with MS. As previously stated, anything is possible and autoimmune disease can give you symptoms as you describe without abnormal lab values (highly unlikely but possible). I would not put too much emphasis on the "brisk reflexes" given the normal MRI and your stress level. I can't tell you where to "go from here". Your physician knows you far better than I and he/she should be able to give you better direction based on your personality, medical history, family environment, religious feelings, social base etc.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my (many) questions. How ironic that you were the one to respond to me given your expertise in HLHS babies. It was a very, very hard decision. I hope I never have to make such a decision again! Again, thank you.
