MRI results for my shoulder

by Karlakay, Mar 17, 2007 12:00AM
I had an MRI and the nurse told me the results on the phone but she does not understand it and said my doctor will call me back next week. I fell four years ago onto concrete on my shoulder and it has never stopped hurting. My MRI results go something like this:
tendonopathy supraspinatus tendon
no tears
chronic anterior laberal abnormality
Does anyone know what this means? And what they will do next if anything?

tendonopathy supraspinatus tendon - thats tendonitis - irritation - thats not a big deal - will go away maybe with a cortizone injection or an anti inflamatory medication,
no tears - thats deffenetly good
chronic anterior laberal abnormality - im not sure exactly what that means - would have to see an xray or an MRI. ask your doctor to show you on the MRI what that means.

Good luck
