Tarsal Tunnel

by Sneakey, Aug 14, 2004 12:00AM
Four months after entrapment release surgery, I re-entrapped from scar tissue.  I had to have mortons neuroma surgery and suffered for DVT all within the six months after surgery.  I have TTS is both feet and now seek pain relief and am unable to find a physician that will treat. All say 2nd surgery is less than 50% effective and are reluctant to help me.  I am in a pain clinic and on methadone with VERY little relief.  I am desperate for some help and don't know where to turn.  Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I would recommend seeing a neurologist who specializes in neuromuscular conditions to confirm that the diagnosis is correct. A opinion from an academic center would be preferrable. An EMG (muscle/nerve test) may be needed to evaluate this problem. Good luck.
